Debrecen's vision is to strengthen its leading role in Central and Eastern Europe as a cross-border economic, educational, scientific and cultural centre, and to become a leading centre for e-mobility worldwide. Alongside e-mobility, the city aims to achieve further economic diversification and maintain a high proportion of white-collar workers.
A total of 1 500 hectares of industrial park in the city have been developed in the framework of sustainability: industrial grey water, solar park and green energy implementation.

In investment promotion activities, we provide a full range of services to investors
throughout the entire investment period, from site selection and implementation to reinvestment and finding local suppliers.
Infrastructure development
DIF Debrecen addresses the engineering and technical challenges of medium- and long-term urban development projects, including the North-West Economic Belt and the South Industrial Park.
KKV Park
The aim of the implementation of the SME Park is to strengthen the local SME sector, in addition to large companies, and to further increase its economic role. The concept aims to provide opportunities for businesses in several phases, on about 60 ha. The proximity of the companies already present in the Southern Economic Belt will provide an excellent opportunity for SMEs to actively participate and cultivate customer-supplier relations.
Supplier Programme
Debrecen's main objective is to support and promote the strengthening of market relations and cooperation between businesses operating in the city, in order to enable more local small and medium-sized enterprises to successfully join the production and service value chain of companies, and to encourage more of them to become suppliers.
Urban development
Its main objectives include drafting and maintaining strategic documents, organising project ideas, preparing proposals and supporting project management tasks and the successful use of resources.
